A Greek boy from Adelaide, a Vietnamese kitchen, and one very stubborn oven.
Jeremy grew up around food but not this food — that part came from Jenny, whose family recipes for bánh mì and rice paper rolls now sit on the same counter as his croissants and baguettes. Two very different food cultures, one shopfront in TreeTops, and a shared belief that "good enough" isn't.
In June 2024, Jeremy represented Australia at ANZBake, going head-to-head against New Zealand's best alongside teammates Tracy Nickl (Gumnut Patisserie) and Brad Burkitt (Terang Country Bakery). Australia took the trophy by a narrow margin — and 9 News Queensland came to Burleigh Waters to tell the story. Watch it below ↓
"We're not trying to be the fanciest bakery on the Coast. We just want every single thing on that shelf to be something we're proud to hand you." — Jeremy & Jenny, owners
We're working on a short welcome video introducing the two of us properly — check back soon, or come say g'day in person.
